_MG_4721 Rare Neighborhood Visitor DAP Aquarell

My neighbors are so helpful! Got a call this morning that a heron was making a rare visit to a neighbor's pond. I dressed in record time and zipped down with my longest lens on a camera at that time - the 70-200 f/4L on my 50D. When I looked at the results I realized how much I appreciate the expanded spot focus of the 7D. Several of my attempts missed the bird. That wouldn't have been the case with the 7D. The background was so busy I decided to use Dynamic Auto Painter on the image (with a touch of Photoshop)
