Cataract removed from severely nearsighted right eye. Implant will make me slightly nearsighted as I requested since I'm so used to be nearsighted! It'll be nice not to have that extra thick right lens in my glasses. Kudos to Asheville Eye Associates for having a great, supportive staff, especially the technician who nearly painlessly did the IV insertion (after a numbing shot that I barely felt).
