2010-10-01_ New Motorola Droid2

It took us a long time to decide on a Smart Phone and we chose the Droid 2 because it had a physical keyboard, which we both need. The Droid X is supposed to have a better camera, but it doesn't have a keyboard. I've been pleasantly surprised with the images. In low light, however, you can get a pink color cast on the image, but in general the color balance and image quality are way better than I expected. Was surprised also that if you have the gps on in the camera the image is automatically geotagged. The geotagging is not on this image, I suspect, because I emailed it to myself. (I was suprised that the geotagging appeared in another image which I had copied directly from the phone to my pc, when posted on pbase I saw a picture of my house! It's been removed.) By the way, Verizon, from whom we bought the Droid 2 invited us to a class, which was held about 3 days after we bought the phone, and it was excellent!

Cindy likes her's too. She uses the virtual keyboard in good light and the regular keyboard in bright outdoor light.
