I was checking some flower boxes when I noticed this very cooperative little grasshopper(?)...maybe 3/4" long. He didn't jump away as I came close with my 60mm lens, but sauntered away. When he got out of camera range I used a blade of grass to nudge him to move in a different direction, and he obliged. He really did seem as curious about me as I was about him. (A smaller aperture certainly would have helped give better depth of field, but evidenced by the ISO 3200, I couldn't make the aperture much smaller. Could also have used flash.
