Virtual Painter Pencil Sketch

Virtual Painter, a plug-in for Photoshop compatible programs has various artisitic filters, most ending with very highly saturated colors. Here the result was toned down with a minus saturation adjustment. This would look a lot better if I got rid of the white lines on the left side!

Getting rid of the white lines on the left is easy. Put this image on top of the original, unprocessed image in a layer and use a layer mask to remove the parts with the white lines and then merge the layers with Flatten image.
