...and it doesn't have to be frost! I was supposed to go down to 40 last night and I wasn't concerned. Plants looked fine this morning, but when the sun came out they shriveled. They're partially recovered here because I covered them and took them out of the sun. (Cucumber on left; eggplant on right)
