The weather was very threatening, with Tropical Storm Ernesto threatening to rain out the first day, so I grabbed the smallest umbrella I could find, which fit in my pocket, and grabbed the Fuji F30, my smallest digicam. There were sprinkles of rain on the windshield as I headed for town. Fortunately, there was no rain when I arrived, but the skies looked ominous. Most of these pictures were taken with shade white balance.
Hi Isabel. This place is full of a certain charm that I find in many of your photos. North Carolina seems like a laid-back, peaceful place. Or have I only seen pictures from smaller towns? :)

A fun, interesting group of photographs. The F30 performed very nicely.
