Adult Common Redshank in non-breeding plumage (presumably ssp. eurhina)

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, Singapore

Concerning the possible subspecies of Redshank wintering in (or migrating through) Singapore there is a lot of (partially contradicting) information available. Here I follow the opinion given on the website of the Digital Nature Archive of Singapore, created by the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research at the National University of Singapore (http://rmbr.nus.edu.sg/dna/). Their website states that only eurhina has been recorded in Singapore (but it is not clear wether they might actually include other races into this taxon).
