This elevator sits just three miles south and four miles west (approx.) of Limerick SK.
Built by a group of farmers under the direction of a skilled vator builder from Alberta in the early 60's it was used to store grain that was used for the new feedlot.
Times were hard in the early 60's for grain sales in the area thus the feedlot to use up some of the grain that could not sell. Poor management over the years put the feedlot into closure.
