Frogfish spawning, Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands. The large orange female Frogfish is swollen with eggs. The small gray male stays nearby until the female is ready to spawn. He slowly pushes her up into the water column where she releases her egg raft and the male fertilizes the eggs. The video is slowed down because this happens very fast.
