The TITC this week is "My Country". I know world
opinion of my country and this flag may be at an
all time low in many parts of this world. In our
all too short history, we have never been afraid
to jump to the assistance of others in need or in
conflict. Opinions may form many other views of
our involvement around the globe. I believe in
the theory and to a large extent the execution of
the basis of our formation as a country. I value
the freedom we have to worship, express our opinion,
live our lives and elect those who "represent" us
in our governments. Are we perfect? Not by a long
shot! Do we care? YES. Do we agree? On occasion.
Are we better for the give and take? Only the future
will tell. I won't be ashamed of our efforts or for
our mistakes only because we are trying.
