Jedson and Teisco Semi-Hollow Electric

Based on research and an examination of other guitar brands' models from the
same timeframe (late 60s - early 70s), I have drawn the conclusion that the
manufacturer of the Jedson semi-hollow/thin archtop was TEISCO -- although in
the late 60s, Kawai purchased Teisco and continued to manufacturer the guitars.
Since Jedsons appear to have lived between 1969 and 1973, it is possible that
  Kawai was the actual manufacturer

Hi,

I own a red Jedson semi-hollow electric, which I have had since 1973. It was bought from our local Woolworths store by my brother that year, and then I bought it from him. Woolworths were selling other guitars for around £20 to £25 at that time, and the Jedson cost around £30. I still enjoy playing it.

Regards,

Bill
