Me, holding up the trig point on Yes Tor in some typical wet and windy Dartmoor weather
quite a few years back, but proving that I do sometimes climb up to the top and occasionally
let the camera loose in someone else's hands :-)
Yes Tor at 2029ft is almost the highest point on the Moor: High Willhayes, the little cairn peak top right just behind on the
same ridge, is about 10ft higher and although it takes the map honours, it isn't nearly as interesting.
OK, maybe that's being a bit mean about it because it does have some rather distinctive 'layered' granite rocks.

ciao John...looks a slog scrambling up there...perhaps tougher still in wellies...seems a fine spot...even in damp weather...V
