Thanks guys Shirley has it right on. It is a window looking out at the street at IIT ( Illinois Inst. of Technology) Karen works there and I assume these sculptures are design students work. Possibly even architecture students since the school is famous for that. (Bauhaus) The building is actually orange (or part of it is) and I took the liberty of the blue. Yes Shirley, when the sun sets the huge ring appears as you walk the hallway looking out and it follows you! charlie

I want one of those! I love them! I like the halo created by the bubble glass too. I find these hanging wire (?) sculptures to be wonderful works of art!
