Wonderful. The Gormley statues seem to offer so much, yet say so little. Great idea for this composition, Ray.

Hope you were able to talk him down Ray.

Utterly surreal in a wonderful kind of way!

Perfect PoV and DoF (and whatever other acronyms I can come up with that have a small 'o' in the middle...)! (V)

So close, but still so far apart. I doubt they'll ever meet and hug. Unless we help them...

Very nice! I voted. But, I think I would also like another version cropped from the right to th edge of the tall building (taking out the white structures. It makes it almost a square format. I think it ads to the drama you have already captured.--Rene

Excellent DOF and a great composition.Voted big time!:-)

I like very much your choice of DOF, Ray. There is something slightly disquieting in this pictures, which is also very appealing.
Your talent finds always different way to show itself.

So nice to see your take on these, Ray. (Hope you have more) Love this presentation - it really does seem as if they are communicating with each other. The starkness of the modern architecture and the steel grey sky add a futuristic drama.

yeah - reminds me of a series of images I took in Budapest at the museum of Communist statues; guess I should make a post or two - I love this one - like a witness at a suicide attempt - Bravo - Ray!

Oh my gosh......you've done it again!!! I didn't even come close to thinking about this brilliant angle. You've turned something interesting, into something really, quite special. I'm in awe :-) GMV

Freaky!
Love it.

Very nice.

Well set up Ray, I really like this one. It's as if the one in the foreground is trying to "talk down" the other. Have you been in to the actual exhibition yet? There seems to be big queues every time I go past. I'll probably give them a call before I go to see if it's possible to take photos in there.
