Impending Storm Chanonry Point

Chanonry Point, Black Isle, Scotland.

Light of this extraordinary colour and quality is extremely rare and just as transient. A sky straight out of armageddon hung overhead while a letterbox slice of clear sky enabled the sun to shine unimpeded upon the lighthouse. Nothing could have prepared me for the intensity and richness of the light on display, albeit for less than a minute. Film literally smoked in the spools of my camera as I captured ten images of this heavenly light before it flickered and died.
