OK...I fixed it. Cloned the flat spot on the green ball to round it out a little. I made a second layer and selected the white background and stroke for removal. Applied bevel and emboss to green logo only, keeping the application soft and the shadow percentagge reduced.

Merged down and duplicated the layer again with a new layer inbetween. Blinded bottom layer and removed the white background on the top layer. Used polygonal lasso to create two areas on the new layer that would fill with black and add roundness to the stroke. Merged down.
