A $2 room

You guys are always asking where I stay and how much I pay. This is the room I had in Phnom
Penh (Cambodia) and is at the bottom end of places I sleep. Nothing wrong with it as long as
you don't mind a small windowless box with a fairly average shared bathroom.

The bed was comfy though....

there's nothing wrong with $2 rooms! in fact, there's everything right with them. i feel too guilty to pay a ridiculous (in Khmer terms, at least) amount of money for somewhere to sleep...when it is simply that. a bed for the night. it's impossible to justify spending money on an expensive room in a country like Cambodia. far better to channel it into sustainable projects.
