January 15

Thinking of my photos, it seems that indeed they are often dark...
I wonder why. It can't be only because of my work,
the weather or the fact that I'm rubbish at daylight shots. :)
I think we all have a bright side and a dark side.
So, is it my dark side showing through my photos?...

Oh well, whatever... Today, I tried to make a Bright version of a flower,
Click here to see its Dark side, or should I say, my dark version...
I think both sides are very different but I like them both...

Je préfère la version sombre, même si celle-ci est vraiment belle aussi.
Tout l'art est de percevoir la lumière et la beauté dans le sombre.
Et si le sombre et la fragilité sont créatrices...
Tout ça te réussit très bien!

I like them both. This bright shot gives fresh feeling and the other one projects coziness :)
Vote. :)

La fleur se fane un peu, elle montre encore de belles et douces couleurs, c'est tout en velouté. J'aime beaucoup.

Both are beautiful but the dark one is one I associate w/ your style.

I really do think we do dark shots when we are 'dark minded'. Have you noticed a trend in mine?
Well done on breaking out of the mould, Kim.

Like to see this brighter one. Gives a very warm feeling caused by it´s beautiful softness. btw: you are brilliant with the dark though.
