Yes both are excellent captures, :-)
Love the look on the womans face with her eyes open :-)

Very good portrait indeed. I like the way you - by composition - direct the eys to the woman. And her closed eyes work here very well.

Best regards,
Paul Teixeira

This is fantastic. The closed eyes make it for me. There's a boredom and an irreverence that to my eye is perfect

Hi Michael! I was probably too critical about it, after all, whether eyes are open or closed gives the viewer different interpretations... I still like the original one because of the beautiful out-of-depth form of the statue. I suppose the second was when she found out she was being photographed?

beautiful perspective! This way to imagine oneself looking at the onlooker... I wish she was not closing her eyes, otherwise, terrific shot!

Sehr interessantes Porträt. Die Komposition ist originell. Und den Ausdruck finde ich toll.
(Hier ist nicht mehr möglich, in den Museen zu rauschen ;-) Das gibt auch etwas zu diesem Bild)

Great perspective. Would like a bit more detail in the subjects shirt but that is just me. Still a fantastic image.
