I am checking on the Bird Sanctuary in Lafreniere Park. The Park is still closed following Hurricane Katrina and the poor traumatized ducks, geese and swans cannot imagine where all their people went. I bring them sacks of cracked corn. By the time the Park opens again their little bodies should be quite healthy.
I am dressed a little scruffily but this seems to be my couture de jour since Katrina.
