Cadbury Hill Fort

Monday 1st August - Day 226

A mound of earth? Maybe, but this is a historical mound of earth :) On this very spot, stood King Arthur in preparation for his battles. Alledgedly...

It is one of the many sites for Camelot :)

A rest stop on the way back from London.... good call to go A303 today, the M4 was solid for several hours :)

Be sure to look back over the past few days, and also into my London Gallery

Such a lovely, rich landscape!
I really like the comp, textures and colours! Very painterly.

Nicely composed with the gnarled tree! Beautiful colors as well.

Beautiful green hills. A very Camelot feel.

Lovely soft greens ... where's the blue sky? ;)

When I think of King Arthur, I see Sean Connery. LOL This is lovely.

I love that one tree branch. It's holding to the earth with one arm and saying "mine, all mine" with the other.

I love the real fresh greens.

It certainly has a King Arthur feel about it. I could definitely seeing his standing here surveying the countryside.

So beautiful! Looks almost like a painting. GMV.

Excellently composed image: the fallen tree draws the viewer into the picture. Moody sky.
