July 9

Sometimes it only takes about two minutes worth of conversation to know someone is fun. My 'stranger shot' for today was taken at The Common Market in Frederick. The young woman on the right was the cashier whose line I was in - and she had a personality that just made me smile. So, of course, I had to ask if I could take her photo. She agreed immediately and then grabbed the other cashier - the guy - and wanted him in on it too. He was far more quiet than she - together they were the yin and yang of The Common Market checkout.
I thank them for allowing me to photograph them.

A slightly different version in b&w:

You can tell that he appears to be the more quiet of the two, very nice portrait, Donna.

Why does this remind me of the movie, Clerks?
Nice job.

He definitly looks shy, but he is also obviously enjoying having his picture taken with this young woman. They are very much opposites.
