Not sure if this is really my style. But, I am really enjoying nature photography more after getting the XT. I really enjoyed their regel appearance despite the heavy rain.

Yes and I love the dead deer floating on the far left of the picture. No, but seriously, this is a great shot. I love that all the ducks/geese are at different heights in the picture. Very nice job!

Hmm, yes, now that you mention it I can see some color...

Thanks Humberto! I am really enjoying my DSLR. Such freedom. This is not a B&W. No changes were made with the saturation. theFly

Love this image, Lee. I speaks to me about beauty in a real, harsh environ. Reminds me that even though we usually see just a glance of beauty on a beauty day, when we go back to our cozy homes, wildlife is still out there, enduring the elements.

The B&W and rain give this image an engraving or paint feeling. You're really dangerous with that camera! Kudos!

Thanks Techo. Only cropped to a 2x4 format and to put the waterline at the top 1/3 point. The width of the picture was not reduced.

Exquisite. Reminds me of one those fairy tale scenes. Just wonderful. Just wondering, at 200mm did you have to crop much. Just to get a sense of how far you where. Because even at 200mm that's pretty far!

Very nice capture Lee, holds interest showing ducks and Canadian I mean Canada geese sharing a rock. ;-)

The rain really adds to the shot, well done Lee & nice to see you outside:-)

In this case, thank goodness for the rain because it has changed your shot from, perhaps, the ordinary to the extraordinary! I love to look at it! Shu

Thanks all! It was taken outside. It really was pouring. It was not raining this hard when I got the camera and put the lens on. It then just started to pour. I was under the cover of some large trees that gave me some protection for a while. It did not last. I shot 4 quick shots in about 30 seconds and then ran for cover in a near by rock over hang.

Shu, the XT is the USA name for the 350d.

Very nice. Like the way you processed the image. Gives a sense of downpour. Was this taken from indoors, if not, how did you protect the camera?

Sorry, forgot to mention that I really like this image. It is really hot here today but this shot makes me feel chilled. Sharon

I love shooting in the rain but worry about getting the camera wet. How did you do this without soaking yours? Sharon

The tones in the image are great! And, BTW, the frame really pulls it together. What is XT? Shu
