Some of our history...

I collect old cameras, as no doubt a number of people on this site do, and this just a shot of the current display of them I have in my living room. The only one I have used is the X-700. The rest came from friends or flea markets.

Have to agree w/ Mr. Smith :) I once had only a lowly Kodak Instimatic 104 prior to getting my first REAL camera. I am now the keeper of camera hardware from several generations of my family, as well as those of several friends and a couple of strangers (not to mention one or two strange friends). I'm going to have to do a similar shot or two in the coming weeks.

Hey Bob, I had a Minolta X-700 too. Like a dummy, I sold it to help pay for a new Nikon Pronea. I like the Pronea but should have kept the Minolta, which gave me great ( At least I like 'em) shots. You can see my little collection here:http://www.pbase.com/pinemikey/my_cameras

That's a great bunch of cameras. I like that Kodak folder in the back. I've noticed that as people find that you collect cameras, your collection begins to grow at an exponential rate! I vaguely remember having only one camera.

What a lovely collection of old camera's, Bob. I saw a Minolta X700 in a second hand camera shop the other day, yours looks in better condition!
Thanks for sharing them!
