I shot this during the first month that the Air and Space Annex at Dulles Airport was open. I was home for Christmas visiting my folks and my dad suggested the trip. As he was a pilot in the military for nearly 2 decades and with Eastern Airlines for nearly 3 more, airplanes have a special place in our family. This is the view that greets you as you enter the building. I doubt a more impressive entrance could have been conceived. In the forground is the SR-71 Blackbird and lined up directly behind it on the same center line is the first space shuttle, Enterprise.
