15th March 2005 - water for rehydration

Princeton is SSSSSsssssoooooooooo dry it makes me hurt. I found this last year too – I couldn’t breathe because my body was so dry and my nose bleeds all the time. It’s like that again today.

In fact, the weather is exactly like last year – beautiful sunshine with bitter cold – dirty snow on the ground in piles where the ploughs have been working to keep the roads clear.

My first day of training folks in our new service has gone well but I’m still feeling wretched inside since DM went home without me. My world is going to be one of living out of a suitcase for the foreseeable future and I hate it.

Part of the problem is the 24/7 culture – I’m ‘on parade’ all of the time with no breaks. I’ve once again found myself in rebellious mood – I have snuck back to my room for a bath and to try to unload some stress before meeting two of my colleagues in the lobby to go over tomorrow’s presentations then off out to dinner with a bigger group.

So, a short piece tonight because of lack of time. This Corporate Whore longs to be somewhere else……

Last year some f*ckwit guest was bothering me and the year before I was enjoying the spring sunshine in Richmond park.

You look so vulnerable in this SP…I hope the time passes quickly for you.

You need to perfect autopilot. Try to enjoy it.... it'll be over in a flash.

Do drink lots of water. I always have trouble in the colder areas of the US because everyone keeps the heat so high. Water helps, lots of it. And long showers and plenty of moisturizer!

Cool SP! Take Care.
Oh yes, are we talking shoes and sofas last year here?
