September 19, 2013--Br. Robert Hampton, Headmaster of Holy Cross on Dauphine from 1964-1980 died. He will be remembered as the one who helped thousands of citizens when Hurricane Betsy flooded the Ninth Ward in 1965 and as a leader in education in New Orleans and the Louisiana High School Athletic Association. Rest in peace, Br. Robert.
