We spent the evening playing in the studio. Someone wanted to see the outfit that Wanda wore to her high school reunion; so, I played fashion photographer. We really liked how this one turned out. Here is the full outfit http://www.pbase.com/image/32628389

Canon EOS 10D ,Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM

I remember how this shot came about. I was having a "bad hair day" and wasn't happy with how My hair looked. So in an attempt to "fix" it, I kept leaning down, fluffing up with My fingers, then flipping My head back. Bill loved what he saw and told Me to do it some more so he could snap a picture. Even though it's hard to keep My balance, I prefer this method of getting the "wind blown" look over having a fan blowing in My face. I don't know how the professional models do it. Whenever a fan is blowing in My face I find Myself squinting to keep the wind out of My eyes.

I think one of the laughing shots would be great to see.
Please post one in the extras gallery if you have a keeper.
I too thought this was wind or fan blown.

Jeanne, see response on how the reunion was in the comment section below pic posted on 8-14.

Do any of you know how hard it is to bend over while wearing heels, stand up quick, flip your hair back while trying to maintain your balance and not have a goofy look on your face? (laughing) Sometimes I can't believe all the goofy things I do to make Bill happy! I suppose this picture turned out "OK".

A quick not so technical note...we didn't use a fan for this photo. I just put the camera into AI predictive focus mode to track the movement and stay focused. Then we placed Wanda's feet into the position we needed for the pose and the light. I had her bend over a flip her hair as she stood up. I just caught her hair as it was falling. It took about four pictures to get what we wanted.

Very nice ... I like the hair.. and the outfit. I'm thinking there are classmates running for the gym today after seeing how lovely Wanda still is.

BIG hair requires a BIG fan. Wonderful image as usual.
