Wanda08_14_04.jpg

Wanda on her Battle Blaster water toy. She bought three of these toys, two for the grandsons and one for her. These toys are just annoying enough to be really fun. At least no one ended up crying this evening in the pool.

I surprised Myself when I allowed Bill to take and post this picture. This is what I call My "drowned rat" look, which is not very flattering. There are some women out there who look adorble when their hair is all wet and their make-up gone, but I look like, well, " a drowned rat"! As I am reviewing the images from our year long project I have decided that even though this isn't the prettiest picture of Me, it does make it to My list of "favorites". The image is an accurate reflection of the part of Me that still loves to have fun and refuses to grow up. I am happiest when I forget I am an adult and behave like a child!

They had a photographer at the reunion. He had a digital camera plugged into his lap top and Hp printer. He was shooting and printing the photo off for $20 bucks. What I saw pretty much sucked; so, we took a pass on the photo. Wanda and I did shoot her in the outfit she wore to the reunionhttp://www.pbase.com/image/32628389

That's too bad, as we don't get to share in the evening nearly as much as we do through your images into your daily activities. Maybe next year?
However, it is the usual practice of the reunion committe to have some photographer present for those more or less "formal" sittings, for some memory booklet, or a highlight publication. Did you have any taken? Want to share with us?

No pic were taken by me and I didn't see anyone else taking pictures that I knew.

Perhaps a little more embarassing is when you ask about someone walking into the reunion, "Do you remember that teacher?" and then find out it is a classmate! OUCH!
I hope that tomorrow we get to see how you were dressed for the BIG event, as I'm sure there were images recorded.

How was the reunion? Good question. The first thought that popped into My head as I looked at My former classmates was, "Holy cow, what a bunch of OLD farts!" (laughing)It left Me wondering how 25 years had slipped by so fast!

The blue of the water is just surreal here! Wow! Looks like fun!
