We've been in Ascot today, David working on his bus and me planting up the garden with summer bedding. The bus now goes - goes properly that is, it will idle and pull the body along the road - whooppee!

David had been out with his mates on Friday night and a girl persistently tried to chat him up. Talk about happy. He came into the house full of the joys of spring, determined not to let a day go by without a pic of the day for himself and grinning like a mad thing at his obvious animal magnetism.

I stuck my new camera in through the window of the bus while he was idling the engine and nursing his hangover. It's enough to send a girl into a right old flutter!
