Tom Kelly

during the cold wet days of winter am spending even more time tucked up with a cup of tea and a good book...in recent weeks have revisited Tom Kelly's marvelous book Literary Ireland, and am currently almost through Legendary Ireland for the second or third time...what a superb photographer Kelly is, catching well fashioned images of Ireland, usually in stormy weather

of course an astute bibliophile like Walter might think this is well and good, but what about Kelly's third photo volume, Ireland the Living Landscape...ahhh, an elusive book to say the least...finally have a copy of that secured though, thanks to dear friend Sam from Arizona...the only catch is the rendezvous/pickup point will be in New Mexico...have to dig out the passport soon

Journeying to a land that is also dark and wet this time of year... ah well, at least there's that blanket underneath the books. A well thought out little vignette.

Looks like some great books and a nice cozy blanket to throw over your legs as you read.

A nice collection to read on a cold winter's day. What better excuse for a trip than to go pick up a new book!

How lucky you are to have all that time to read!

I believe that you will pick up your book in NM when you see Sam.

The best trips are often taken sitting in your favorite reading chair, book firm in hand. Not familiar with any of your titles specifically, except for Yeats. I recommend James Joyce "Ulysses" as a complex and rewarding literary journey when the cold dark days keep you indoors.
