This morning I cried...

What is it about a tiny garden in the suburbs of Dallas that could bring tears to my eyes?

You see... I love nature, but I live on a small lot with a fenced backyard.
I crave nature on a daily basis and planted this little garden in hopes that I could have it outside my back door.
But, I never expected to have a little bunny make it his happy place.

As I sat on my back porch with camera in hand, I heard cars going past the front of the house,
an airplane flying overhead and sirens from emergency vehicles going down the highway.
And then it happened! Little Ronnie Rabbit came out of hiding and started to explore the "Secret Garden" again this morning,
and when he peeked into the little frog bird bath/fountain, that's when the tears welled up in my eyes. His curiosity was endearing!

Yes... this is my happy place, as simple as it might be!
Life is too short not to find joy in the simplest of pleasures.
Thank you Ronnie Rabbit for sharing my special "Secret Garden".

Once again... you made my day!

Your garden looks exquisite and perfect for wildlife. How lovely to have such an endearing little resident. I hope he can stay away from the busy roads. V
