Spotted Apatelodes Moth

Had some interesting moths show up last night. In addition to this guy, we finally got
our Ailanthus Webworm moth, had a super pretty Tufted Bird Dropping Moth
(who wasn't available this morning for my PAD), and another Small-eyed Sphinx.

That is indeed an alien looking moth with thick hairy leggins, delta-shape and the hindwings seemingly missing.

This is fantastic. I have yet to see this species...isn't it a beauty! And the Ailanthus webworm, another great one to see. Last night I saw three moths... cold, showery and stormy :-(
