Elizabeth Grant Falls

A 5.5 km each-way walk through the rainforest leads to these wonderful falls; my photo doesn’t do them justice.
Descending from its source in the Misty Mountains, Koolmoon Creek has cut a 280-m slot through the rhyolite (welded tuff) side of this unnamed mountain.

A very interesting place. Nice composition of this long waterfall, Don! V

You were lucky to have space between the two tall trees to capture the waterfall Don.

A worthwhile walk. A perfect waterfall viewpoint to witness the power of water to shape rock. I expect there's a whole lot more water in the wet season.
