Church of St Peter Spexhall - early doorway

Spexhall, Suffolk

Blocked north door way; possibly the oldest surviving part of the original church. Transitional between Saxon plain arch a bit over 180 degrees, and 'Norman'. The church tower is reputed to be of saxon origin and this is immediately adjacent
