In most graveyards there is 'stone of the day', in this case 2; the doggerel at the bottom reads:
Stay reader stay depart not from this stone/but ponder well the Place where I am gone/Death quickly took my Strength & Sense away/and laid me down in this cold bed of Clay/Consider of it and take home each line/The grave that next is open may be Thine
