Tengenji-bashi

A house in Tengenji-bashi, close to where we used to live.

We got home at 10:30 p.m. from the Janadriyah cultural festival, almost a nine-hour outing. I have a feeling my pictures won’t be as interesting as two years ago since the distances were so great, I had to be pushed around the grounds in a wheelchair, which sort of dampened my enthusiasm and limited my opportunities for shots. But at least I went and did enjoy myself, until evening, when the temperatures dropped radically and I was literally freezing, even with a long-sleeved T-shirt, abaya, jacket and a shemagh a kind man had lent me to use as a shawl.

How beautiful this house is, the green setting almost hiding the structure, is lovely. V

its amazing that the same country can be so collected and tranquil in one place and so obstreperously loud in another.....though maybe that is the same in most countries
