Gaudí in Riyadh?

This very unusual building was being overhauled when we saw it; I don’t know if the entry was going to remain as is or not, but the entire place reminded me of a Gaudí creation, down to the ceilings that were being ripped out on the first floor and the windows going round the building.

It really is very reminiscent of Gaudi's work. I wonder if that is deliberate? At any rate, a delightfully different and unique building. V

Beautiful design and a well composed image, Helen. Sure it has Gaudi's shadow in it. It look wonderfully great and unique for an entrance and again, your composition of this gate is superb and I love the shadows ! BV+++

the amorphous forms do seem Gaudi-esque...the appetite for bold statements in Riyadh architecture seems voracious...
