Virginian tiger moth (Spilosoma virginica), #8137

Larose Forest

It was a damp cool morning, and I found various moths sheltering under leaves. This beauty has an orange and black abdomen (see here for a glimpse: http://www.pbase.com/laroseforest/image/154818437).
