Violas

At home

Without the texture this time.
These little flowers are amazing - still in flower in summer! They're usually
only a spring flower where I live and die off and have to be replaced again
ready for the next spring.

It's a lovely colour explosion; so rich and saturated. I really need to find myself some of these as well; they have a lot of photographic potential, as you've captured well here.

Deep colour. (our neighbour gave us some in a garden pot for Christmas - they have all but shrivelled away on our doorstep while hers are still in flower! there must be a knack to growing them I think!)

I love pansies! Such happy faces on the flowers! :). Beautiful capture Von! BV pansies prefer cooler temperatures in the spring and fall where I live too.
