Colin and I worked out last night that we'd known each other for 22 years. Scary! He's here to spend Easter with us, having met me at Waterloo yesterday evening after the game. He was at least sympathetic with my afternoon's misery as he's an ardent West Ham fan!

For some reason he's a dog magnet - wherever he goes dogs just love him. Rosie and Archie are no exceptions. Rosie spends most of the time when Colin is here trying really hard to make him love her. She's got no finesse though and her attempts are usually enough to put off anyone. Colin is very tolerant though.

You'll notice the prominence of Colin's feet - he's a size 12 and he sure knows how to tread on things - doesn't matter what - babies, dogs, dog poo - all with unerring accuracy. If it's on the floor, Colin will step in it!
