Poochdad: Hi friends, hope you are all well? Sorry for lack of time on PBase recently. Other areas of life need my attention
at the moment so I am going to take a break from photography and Pbase for a while.
Pooch has been having paw trouble almost continually since last November, the vet says the paw-pads are now malformed and
he is only capable of short lead walks. After thousands of pounds of treatment and two operations, it's become a matter of
'managing the condition' as best we can, rather than hoping for a cure.
At least it didn't happen when Pooch was still a young dog and in need of lots of exercise. Nowadays he has several short lead walks
a day and is quite happy with that and his garden. He is content in himself and isn't in pain.

Here's a photo of him exploring Helmsley Castle a couple of weeks ago. He enjoyed a leisurely amble and sniff in the sunshine.

All the best,
Ev (poochdad)

I'm sorry for my first comment and lack of understanding the situation. I must have caught you in the process of posting!

I'm really sorry to hear about Pooch's paws, such a shame for an active little dog. I'm sure you and Pooochmum will take the greatest care of him. Come back as and when you are able. Best wishes, Chris.
