James Macandrew, solid citizen.

Toitū Otago Settlers Museum.

Macandrew was born in Scotland and ended his life living in New Zealand.
He was a New Zealand ship-owner and politician. He served as a Member of Parliament from 1853 to 1887 and as the last Superintendent of Otago Province.
