With typical luck, the sun came out this morning, just as I was about to head off to the airport.
I had time for only a few pictures down at the harbour, as the sun was burning through the morning mist.
In case you don't realise, the foreground in this picture is sea ice and the trees are on an island.
Now I wish I had the Nikon with me to capture more of the dynamic range in this scene, with less noise.
