Photographic Technique applied to Apadana Bas Reliefs

These photographs are provided to show how Photoshop can be used to blur the background of an image in order to draw attention to the foreground.
I have used this (labour intensive) technique for the Bas Reliefs on the Apadana Staircase in Persepolis.
