I had to go to my favourite location today, Loch Davan, all the signs looked right sleety rain at low levels early last night, clearing and a frost forecast. This usually means Morven will have a thin covering of snow on her upper slopes. After a tricky slippery drive I wasn't disappointed for about five minutes the diffuse sun behind me broke onto the slopes. It never reached its full potential where it gives a pinkish glow on slopes and was soon gone, but I caught the moment:-) Then off to one of my new locations, and as I arrived the sun appeared - what joy!!!!
