"viral"acacia.

These suckers pop up anywhere and everywhere in my garden; they are a real nuisance yet I dare not poison them as I want to keep the main tree.

Yes, I agree. I do like the image, though!

They are very pretty leaves though! But yes I always find it stressful to keep up with my garden!

They can be a nuisance. They are pretty though...but then again so is poison ivy!
Sandi Whitteker05-Nov-2011 17:47
A little too much of a good thing. Pretty leaves though.

A real paradox -- at one end, a real nuisance and at the other, a thing of beauty.
Regardless, you've turned it into a beautiful photograph!

Isn't that the truth!?! I have some I have to keep after.

They do look pretty - I guess a weed is a wild flower/plant in the wrong place

Most annoying but very pretty!!

They maybe a nuisance but they look nice!!
Janice Dunn04-Nov-2011 17:56
At least at this size they are easy to pull out of the garden...

Same thing at my home. None around but I think I imported them in some free pine straw from a friends home.

My family used to have a similar backyard tree...we called the tree a "Mimosa". The little suckers sprouted up everywhere!

We get Ivy vines that grow everywhere...drives me nuts. Good "stress" image!!
Guest 04-Nov-2011 11:35
they pull out easy... I get them too..
Sheila04-Nov-2011 09:35
It's called the tree from hell, here. Suckers can be found 100's of feet away from the main tree.
It's leaves are so pretty.

I have a problem with the same (or a similar) green leafy plant. Maybe our Pbaser Scott can tell us the best way to eliminate them. :)
Lovely monochrome, textural image! :)
