Devotion

•Day 2: Something that makes you smile.

I am smiling because Linus (the lovebird on the right who is being groomed by Mr. Lucy) is on the mend now.
He was admitted to the avian hospital last week after taking a fall from the top of the cage down to the hardwood floor.
Birds are such fragile creatures and he was obviously in pain.
After blood work, X-rays, close observation and now a two week course of antibiotics, Linus is on the mend!
The vet thinks that he had an underlying infection as well as a concussion....

Yikes! Is it hard to give a bird antibiotics? Glad that he is now on the mend and I'm sure that his buddy was glad to have him back.
