The Train (1964)

view map

The Surfliner makes its way south past San Elijo Lagoon near Solana Beach.
This is the main line running from Los Angeles to San Diego.
If you would like to jump the train like Burt Lancaster did in the 1964 film, I have geotagged the location for you.

Is that a double-decker train? They're way cool , we don't have them in the UK but I think we should (might have a bit of trouble with all the bridges, mind!!) Lovely shot against the cactus and other greenery
